A working fishing boat, built for the job
Emma Kate is a purpose-built working fishing boat rather than a pleasure or sightseeing boat. Fishing takes place from the open deck, giving anglers plenty of working space around the boat.
The boat naturally moves with the sea and conditions outside Padstow Harbour can feel very different from those inside the harbour. We recommend warm layers, waterproofs and sensible footwear, even when the weather looks good on shore.
Rods, reels, tackle and bait are provided, and the skipper and crew will get you set up and help throughout the trip. Beginners are very welcome, and experienced anglers are also welcome to bring their own gear.
