2 HOUR TRIP

This trip is great fun for all ages. From leaving Padstow harbour it is a short trip out to the fishing grounds, which could take up to 30 minutes each way. When arrived, everyone will be asked if they’ve fished before. If not, we provide easy tuition on using the rod and reel.

EMMA KATE is a LOCHIN 38 type sea-fishing boat. Build by one of the best and oldest British boatbuilding company LOCHIN, which are known for designing lifeboats & police patrol vessels. She is powered by new twin 280hp FPT Iveco Turbocharged diesel units, Cruising speed of 15 knots and a sprint speed of 25 knots.

Padstow is located on the rugged coast of North Cornwall. Therefore it is one of the most picturesque working harbours in UK. Skippers Lee and John have over 40 years experience between them. Junior and Senior Cornish boat angling Champions in the past.

4 HOUR TRIP

Our 4 hour trip is ideal for customers that have done the 2 hour mackerel trip before. We steam either West towards Trevose Head or East, in the direction of Tintagel. We fish either a ship wreck or a reef of rocks. Aiming for pollack, cod, pounting, gurnards, mackerel and more...
8 HOUR TRIP

All day trip recommended for more experienced anglers. We can plan to fish for anything from Bream, Tope, Ray, Smooth hounds, weavers, Pollack, Cod, Gurnard and other species. Anglers can bring their own gear on board, if not we can supply it at no extra cost.
EVENING TRIP

The evening trips usually run from 5/5:30pm until 9/9:30pm. The idea of going out later in the day is to accommodate customers who work during the day, even so everyone is welcome to join. The species are similar to the 4 hour wreck and reef fishing trip.

Set sail from my home town Padstow onboard the 'Emma Kate' with my mate and skipper Lee. The day was slow with small tides but we still managed to see some fish to the boat. The the highlight of the day was being joined by the Dolphins, and lots of them too.
